|Module consists of the study units|
This module consists of several study units, every part has its own learning objectives. The study units are:|
||Living and Working Tomorrow (module)
||Living and Working Tomorrow
||Introduction to Physical Systems
||Math and Modelling
The theme of this module is ‘Living and Working Tomorrow’ in which the main topics are Communication, Ideation and Explorative design with clients and users. Visualizing, concretizing and tinkering with ideas based on external assignments. As an independent creative professional it is necessary to develop skills in generating ideas (ideation), exploring and tinkering and subsequently imagining, realizing, presenting and evaluating them in the context of an external assignment. The main components are:
Creative engineers should be able to visualize ideas and to make them tangible. Making ideas tangible in an early stage allows for tinkering, tweaking, playing and testing – long before they are ready for market or production. There are many ways for visualizing or realizing ideas in such a way that they can be presented to and discussed with others. This process of choosing a representation, tinkering and explorative research is the bottom-line of this module.
- Ideation, tinkering, explorative research
- Shape, design, context, tangible models
- Users and user scenarios
- Physical systems (dynamical systems): modeling, simulation and supporting math
- Introduction in electronic systems + supporting math
- (Interactive) visualisation, introduction in 3Dmodeling
- Professional Development
