- The student can design, develop, and evaluate low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes of an interactive system that is well justified in context.
- The student is able to take real users (and customers) into account in the analysis, design, and evaluation of interactive systems with respect to both usability and user experience.
- The student can formulate a research question and answer it by choosing and applying various research methods to collect data.

This study unit is about designing, realising, and evaluating the interaction between people and technical systems. Within the unit, students design an interactive system and evaluate it with potential users. In the project, the students work in teams to design and evaluate an interactive system. Through lectures, tutorials and self-study on the design and evaluation of human-computer interaction students learn about various methods for conducting user studies, and quantitative and qualitative methods to analyse the resulting data.
Manual enrollment via Osiris is only for Creative Technology students. If you want to enroll, please contact K. Zalewska (k.zalewska-kurek@utwente.nl).
