To study independently but with supervision a specialised subject in the area of High Tech Systems and Materials in detail and carry out a small project. The topic is selected in agreement with the lecturer (chairholder) and cannot be a topic that is addressed in the regular curriculum courses. The topic may be an exploratory study, or an in depth analysis of a particular topic as prelude or sideline of a MSc topic. It may be research or design oriented, and can be theoretical as well as experimental. The result must be a detailed report with results/measurements, or a design. The course can be fulfilled during the entire year.
