3D Modeling & Animation teaches skills and some more fundamental insight in 3D graphics modeling techniques as well as basic animation techniques for humanoid characters for movies or games.
The focus is on the typical workflow for creating 3D models, characters, character rigging & skinning, animations, materials, and exports to other applications like Unity3D. This track significantly contributes to the Interactive Media Project. You get a grade for setting up a “walk cycle animation” for a 3D character. In addition, you have to design your own 3D character, rig it, skin it and animate it.|
