The study unit will start with a kick-off session. In the first week, the nature of responsible management will be illustrated with case studies and explained using theories stemming from the domains of Change Management and Organisational Behaviour. Students will be expected to work on their group assignment, where they analyse and discuss a selected case study. Tutorials will be provided for guidance.
In the second week, students will take part in workshops on leadership development. Guest speakers will illustrate the practice of responsible management and sustainable development. Students will also write an individual essay discussing their most significant findings and learnings on responsible management and the organisational changes it may require. Additionally, all students are asked to reflect on their leadership and personal development.
To conclude the module, on the last Friday the students will present their most significant findings and learnings in this module and how these insights translate into plans for future development of skills and knowledge for them to become a successful leader in mobilising for sustainable development.
