Content
This Combined Final Project is meant for students, carrying out a final project as part of a combined EEMCS Master’s programme Business Information Technology / Computer Science. The rules for a combined Master’s programme within the EEMCS faculty are given in the Education and Examination Rules, Section A, Article A3.6 (both programme EERs have a common section A).

The Learning Outcomes of the combined project consist of the combined Leaning Outcomes of both separate final projects:
192199978 Final Project CS
192399979 Final Project BIT
See the descriptions of both projects for more information and learning outcomes.

Study Load
The study load of the combined final project is 45 EC, being the total study load of one of the final projects plus half of the study load of the other project (Both separate final projects have a study load of 30EC). The combined final project replaces the final projects of both separate master’s programmes. As such, a reduction in the total study load of 15 EC is obtained.

Entry Requirements
  • You must be enrolled for both degree programmes CS and BIT of the faculty Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science
  • For a combined final project, each student must submit a request for approval by the Examination Board, based on a project plan.
Supervision and assessment
The setup and organisation of the combined final project must satisfy the requirements of both final projects. The project must be supervised by a common graduation committee, at least containing a senior examiner from each of the two master’s programmes CS and BIT.
