Throughout the semester project you will work in a team of ATLAS peers. As a team, you will design a solution for a socio-technical challenge. The project’s process will be a blended learning experience of multidisciplinary lectures, activities, and workshops.
Throughout a systematic and iterative approach, you will learn to analyse, ideate, design, prototype, and evaluate your solution. In order to achieve this, you will develop new skills and bring together different areas of knowledge, such as information and research methods, design thinking approaches, philosophical and ethical frameworks, critical thinking, responsible research and innovation, design sketching, and modelling. In short, you will acquire the basic skills to set-up and manage a design project that considers the interdependence of human, social, environmental, and technological factors.
