Aims
1. recognize, analyze and evaluate various forms of mathematical reasoning;
2. describe historical development of modern conception of mathematics;
Content
In this course, you will take a closer look at the development of statistics and probability and subsequently, reflect upon the way a domain acquires a mathematical form. By studying and discussing historical cases, you inquire into the nature and role of mathematical formalization, proving, axiomatization, and different styles of mathematics.

Also, in continuation of Intercultural communication, from Module-01-AM (“Structures and Models”), you will become familiar with four theories describing cultural dimensions and variations as presented in the book Intercultural Sensitivity. You will use those theories to analyze your own culture and recognize its differences with other cultures, as well as to recognize how cultural difference can lead to clashes in intercultural communication and other interactions.
