RemarksSemester course; runs over quartiles 1A and 1B.
This is a pre-master course.
Application procedureYou apply via OSIRIS Student
Registration using OSIRISYes
Aims
The student can describe and use fundamental properties of signals and systems, both from an abstract level and a more concrete level.

Content
The course fills your EE toolbox with some essential mathematical tools. First, you will be introduced to abstract properties of signals and systems. Next, we will consider the continuous time/frequency perspective when dealing with linear differential equations, Fourier series, Fourier transform and the Laplace transform. Finally, the discrete time perspective will be given by discussing the z-transform, also in relation to filters.
