Module description
This module is given as an introduction into electrical engineering. Inspired by perhaps the most commonly used piece of electronics, the smartphone, we take very common sensing and actuation systems as a first topic.

In this module, we have three study units that teach you both the basics as well as everything you need to design your own sensing and actuation system. The basics of circuit analysis 1 are taught, as well as basic mathematical skills needed to analyse these systems. These basic skills are put to use in the project Sensors and Actuators. Here we work towards the analysis and readout of sensors, the analysis and design of an accelerometer, as well as the design and testing of a final setup comprised of a fully electronic Strongman game.
