Having goals is important for retaining your motivation (especially at times it's all a bit less easy or not as you wish) but also to have clear what you want for yourself. In addition, you need goals to determine your direction and to set up a plan on how to achieve those goals: what will you do, very concrete, during the Professional Development section of the BSc CreaTe curriculum. Goals can be achieved in the short or long term; you can set new goals and sometimes it is also necessary or wise to adjust goals. To be able to do well, pro- and re-flection are important. In addition, setting realistic and concrete goals. Your mentor can be helpful in these processes.
The aim of professional development is that students learn to achieve their professional aims, build a personal brand, and continuously develop their skills. In Module 5 we asked students to reflect on their choices for Professional Development in their first year, the choice for Module 5 (Interaction Media or Smart Technology) and the choice for Professional Development challenge M5; to pro-flect, taking into account the three pillars of Professional Development, their choices for the rest of the academic year. In M6 we ask students to indicate which elements of the 3 pillars they already have paid attention to and which part they want to pay attention to in M6, M7 and M8.
Manual enrollment via Osiris is only for Creative Technology students. If you want to enroll, please contact K. Zalewska (k.zalewska-kurek@utwente.nl).
