Aims
The learning objectives of the orientation module, and also the section 'Preparation Bachelor's Assignment' therein, can be summarised as;
  • preparing and orienting oneself on the possibilities after completing the Bachelor's degree in TN,
  • summarising, repeating, extending and applying skills that have been covered throughout the TN study programme,
  • Developing a professional attitude in a research environment.
The objective of the elective courses is to provide an overview and introduction to the main directions of research within the Master of Applied Physics at the University of Twente. The elective courses also provide an opportunity to become acquainted with different working methods and applications of Applied Physics.
 
Content
In TN module 11 we offer students the opportunity to (further) orientate themselves on the possibilities after completing the Bachelor's programme in Applied Physics. Besides a number of elective courses, in the part 'Preparation Bachelor's Assignment' we elaborate on a number of topics related to the bachelor's assignment and aspects of the career after graduation by means of workshop-like meetings and assignments.
Work is done on;
  • preparation of the content of the bachelor's assignment,
  • Communication skills,
  • professional and career orientation,
  • professional attitude.
