At the completion of this course, the student will be able to;
- translate a physics/mathematics problem to an algortihm
- translate the algortihm to Python code
- perform linear and non-linear data fitting
- make a quantitative analysis of the agreement between data and model
Programming and Dataprocessing 2 is a sequel to Programming and Dataprocessing 1 from the first quartile.
Python: dictionaries; list comprehensions; a primer on object oriented programming (OOP); Jupyternotebooks; animation with matplotlib.
Dataanalysis: Poisson distribution; discrete events; kwantitative analysis of (non-)linearfit.
The assessment plan for this course will be published no later than 2 weeks before the starting block of the course on https://www.utwente.nl/nl/tn/onderwijs/toetsschemas/
