On completing the CHANGEL module, the students will be able to:
- Discuss the key concepts, theories, insights, methods and practices of change management and leadership; corporate governance; business ethics (incl. responsible innovation); and strategic and responsible foresight (incl. the dynamics of new technologies and societal change).
- Critically assess the opportunities and limitations of the key concepts, theories, insights, methods and practices of change management and leadership; corporate governance; business ethics; and strategic and responsible foresight.
- Analyze a real-life business case from the perspectives of change management and leadership; corporate governance; business ethics; and strategic and responsible foresight in order to define the roles businesses can play to enhance responsible innovation.
- Apply a specific foresight method to a business case scenario and integrate insights from change management and leadership; corporate governance; business ethics; and strategic and responsible foresight when designing this business case scenario.
- Deduct strategic and reflexive management recommendations from a foresight project to improve a given course of action in various national and international business settings in which issues of change management and leadership; corporate governance; business ethics; and strategic and responsible foresight are at play;
- Discuss the impact of differences between national, international, cross-cultural and global contexts on the practical implementation of a business innovation project.
- Reflect upon the own future study and employment careers and how the bachelor thesis project can contribute to that.

This module provides an integrated perspective on how businesses develop towards successful future operation. Crucial issues include:
- Corporate governance: internal governance and incentive structures to motivate employees to work efficiently and in close contact to external stakeholders;
- Business ethics: mechanisms how companies and their managers, employees, investors and others involved cope with ethical dilemmas, including phenomena like social responsible entrepreneurship and innovation;
- Change management: approaches towards changing organisations towards new future objectives in terms of organizational constellation, culture and innovation development;
- Leadership: looking at the roles, responsibilities, tools and styles to be used by managers depending on the maturity of the organization, employees, environment;
- Strategic and responsible foresight: employing techniques with which companies can prepare themselves for new future challenges, as well as in how they can approach innovations by taking into account their societal impacts and expectations.
