Aims
Theory
  • understand the prevalent paradigm of Human Factors and its implications.
  • understand the development cycle of technology products and the role and activities of Human Factors specialists therein
  • be able to describe several important application domains and the respective HF challenges and approaches
  • know in detail how cognitive abilities contribute to human performance

 
Content
In this study unit basic engineering principles are introduced, for example, the role of user requirements and the project phases of systems development.
