In this study unit, students are introduced to professional writing and design skills. First, students get introduced to information searching skills and develop the competence to critically evaluate scientific and non-scientific materials (1S1). Second, these skills will be directly applied in a writing assignment, where students will develop the skill to write a short text (1S2). Third, students learn how to communicate through images and visualizations, by means of an infographic (1S3).
This study unit is part of the Communication science module We connect society. Because the four study units, which are part of the module, are highly related to each other it is not possible to follow this study unit separately.
