After successfully finishing this part of the course a student is able to:
work with tensors.
calculate stresses (force equilibrium, etc.).
explain occurring deformations (strain) based on material theory.
apply 3D elasticity theory on components of a construction.
understand and describe material behaviour other than elasticity.
evaluate and understand the results of a calculation.
recognize the problem at hand and simplify it based on the interpretation of elasticity theory.
