 body { font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial } table { font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial } This is a part of Module 5, ME 5 Dynamic Systems of the Bachelor Mechanical Engineering . See here for the compete description of this module. System Analysis provides the basis for the design and control of mechatronic systems. More specific: for the modelling and analysis of the dynamics of multi-domain systems, i.e. mechanical and electrical systems. Discrete parameter systems are considered that are linear time invariant. Four model types of dynamic systems are considered: the differential equation, transfer function, state space model and block diagram. Hence, both the  time and frequency domains are considered. These are used to analysis the performance of a system (in the time domain and frequency domain) and are the basis for the design of controllers.
