This is a part of Module 11, Preparation BSc-thesis Civil Engineering of the Bachelor Civil Engineering. See here for the complete description of this module.
In module 1-8 of the B-CE-programme students gained domain specific knowledge in the different subfields of Civil Engineering and applied this knowledge in projects using several design and research methods.
In this course the focus is on Designing a research Project in the field of Civil Engineering, preparatory to and to be conducted in module 12, the BSc-Thesis of Civil Engineering. The course is meant to scaffold and foster the writing process towards a working and feasible Bsc-Thesis research plan.
The attention is directed towards writing a Project plan for a (practical) research project: Conceptual Design, Technical Research Design and Research Planning.
