See here for the complete description of this module. This course is meant to provide you with basic skills to use GIS for environmental and spatial analysis. You will learn to make a spatial data analysis and visualization, to perform a spatial multi-criteria analysis, to conduct a network analysis and to create a 3D visualization. For this component, it is necessary to install the following programs on your laptop: ArcGIS, ILWIS and Google Sketch Up. You will learn some basic skills to use ArcGIS and ILWIS.
