Cursusdoelen
  1. Discuss how different regions in a boundary layer affect the forces exerted by the flow on an immersed body
  2. Compute the forces exerted by the flow on an immersed body making use of analytical expressions
  3. Explain the difference between an integral and a differential approach to flow problems
  4. Solve a given flow problem making use of the integral mass and momentum conservation laws
  5. Draw water surface profiles for a one dimensional shallow water flow, given a set of boundary conditions
  6. Give a physical interpretation of each of the terms in the Navier Stokes equations
