The course will be an applied course, where the student will be exposed to research challenges from across different knowledge and disciplines that characterize the maintenance domain.
Moreover, the course will offer to the students the latest innovations and solutions of Maintenance Engineering. The course will be given by the different maintenance-related chairs (both staff and researchers) to offer a homogeneous overview of the various angles and disciplines of Maintenance Engineering, such as maintenance management, condition monitoring, failure prediction or maintenance optimization and design for maintenance. In a case study, the students will have to solve a maintenance challenge by combining methods and insights from the different disciplines.
