  • Compose dynamic models in different forms (differential equations, transfer functions, block schedules)
  • Analyze dynamics behavior and a mechanical systems in both time and frequency domain

SYSTEM ANALYSIS is the second course in the CONTROL & PRECISION ENGINEERING learning line.
SYSTEM ANALYSIS provides the basis for the design and control of mechatronic systems. More specific: for the modelling and analysis of the dynamics of multi-domain systems, i.e., mechanical and electrical systems. Discrete parameter systems are considered that are linear time-invariant. Three model of dynamic systems are considered: the differential equation, transfer function and block diagram. Hence, time and frequency domain are considered. These are used to analyse the performance of a system and are the basis for the design of controllers.

Please note: This course takes place in Amsterdam and is only accessible for BSc UT-VU ME students.
