Aims
During this course students from another university carry out a placement according to the requirements of their home university.
Content
This course can be followed only by exchange students from another university. It will contain a placement to be carried out within one of the research groups (chairs) of the S&T faculty. The subject of investigation will be agreed upon by the research group and the home university of the student, as will be the procedure concerning the report and assessment. A chair or supervisor will only supervise projects within its research area. The student is therefore advised to consult the webpages of the research groups and to select a suitable one.
See https://www.utwente.nl/en/tnw/research/research-groups/ for a list of research groups. In the learning agreement the supervisor should be indicated. When in doubt contact the Exchange Coordinator for the faculty of Science and Technology at: exchange-tnw@utwente.nl. It must be pointed out that the length of stay during the project should coincide with the number of ECTS stated in the learning agreement: 1 EC consists of 28 hours of work. The minimum number of ECTS for a placement is 15 ECTS.
