The learning outcomes are:
- Forming an opinion on the interaction of themselves with the world around them and the mutual influences;
- The ability to step back from common opinions to develop their own opinion.

The general goal is to help students form an opinion. To make the students aware of the way in which they interact with the world around them; how the world influences them, how preconceived notions and stories influence their observations and shape their decisions.
The course aims to give students insight into the workings these stories, help
them reveal their own stories and help them to occasionally step back from the stories to examine their own thinking. The class will also treat a selected number of known ethical issues to go through the process of developing an opinion (on these) through listening and evaluating. The activities and teaching aids will reflect that the subject matter is not as objective as in the regular courses. Attendance will be mandatory.
Assessment plan
The course will be assessed by an essay assignment.
