Content
The Final Project is the final part of the Master's degree programme. During this project, you will be required to demonstrate your ability to solve a research or engineering problem. The project must be carried out using the techniques of project management. You will begin by making a project plan in cooperation with your Master’s thesis advisor. Several aspects of the project are defined within the plan, including the assignment, the frequency of interaction with the advisors, the milestones of the project and the resources and facilities offered by the faculty. You will be required to adhere to your plan throughout the project. It is obviously possible to adjust your plan under certain circumstances and after discussion with your daily supervisor.
At the end of the project, you will submit your Master’s thesis, which must be written in English, and make an oral presentation of your work to the Thesis Committee. The Thesis Committee will announce the final mark, which is based on the criteria stated in:
https://www.utwente.nl/en/emsys/programmeinformation/rules/4TU_ES_GraduationRegulation_English.pdf

You should register your final project in the Mobility Online system before the start of your master’s thesis project.
