After successful completion of this course the student has:
- an understanding of the basic mathematics that is needed to follow the ITech master courses
- insight in the scope and breadth of the mathematical tools needed for artificial intelligence and machine learning
- insight in the mathematical basics of formal languages and grammars for both artificial languages as well as natural language
- proper skills in solving practical (mathematical) problems in the field of programming and machine learning
This course is especially meant for candidates, missing specific knowledge and certain mathematics skills, which is necessary to participate successfully in the ITech master.
