The project will focus on emerging technologies that contribute to the transition towards sustainable oceans. You will explore different disciplinary and societal perspectives to understand these technologies, and the knowledge, values and societal interest underlying them. You will integrate perspectives in long-term socio-technical scenarios, containing an analysis of the current state-of-the-art and a plausible trajectory for further developing the technology. Furthermore, you will design concrete short-term plans for implementing the new technology in society, and will critically reflect on how these plans affect and are affected by different stakeholder groups. The project offers opportunities to follow your interests, excel, integrate perspectives from technology and society, serve the community, and create new pathways, and to develop new competences in research, design and organization. It provides a variety of opportunities to broaden, deepen, and find your direction, and to collect evidence for achieving the semester goals of this semester
