Aims
Upon completion of this course, students will be
  • Able to understand and reflect upon basic theories in innovation management
  • Able to understand and reflect upon basic theories in entrepreneurial finance.
An application of innovation management and entrepreneurial finance knowledge will take place in the courses BDL I and BDL II
Content
Innovation management: theory and models; New product development process

Entrepreneurial Finance: Theory and models, financial statements, venture financing cycle

Assessment
Part: Innovation, one written exam, weight 50% minimum grade 5.5,  2 EC
Part: Innovation EIT Digital content, several assignments from the EIT platform, Pass/Fail, 0.5 EC
Part: Entrepreneurial Finance, one written exam, weight 50%, minimum grade 5.5, 2 EC
Part: Entrepreneurial Finance EIT digital content, several assignments from the EIT platform, Pass/Fail, 0.5 EC

A total of 5 EC will be obtained when all parts are passed.
