Learning goals
  • recognize and identify different types of entrepreneurial activities (knowledge)
  • explain key theories in innovation and entrepreneurship
  • illustrate and/or critique key theories by using empirical examples
  • integrate key theories and collect relevant additional theories to design a unique solution to solve empirical problems related to entrepreneurship (analysis, integration in project)
  • evaluate the quality of alternative designs and defend the selection of a particular design (analysis, synthesis &integration >project: presentation
Content
The content in BDL I covers the entrepreneurship learning goals of the EIT programme. Students perform two components:

1. Entrepreneurship lecture, tested with individual exam, in the context of MOD06 (INN&ENT) for 2.5 ECTS.
    This includes the following topics:
  • Entrepreneurship Introduction
  • Prototyping and market research for entrepreneurs
  • Lean Startup
  • The entrepreneurial process
  • International Entrepreneurship
 
2. Lean Startup Project Part I. This includes the following process steps:
  • Problem Interview
  • Solution Development
* The Entrepreneurship component (2.5 EC) is combined with the Entrepreneurship component of the Innovation & Entrepreneurship (201600172) module of IBA. This component consist of lectures and is assessed by an individual exam.
