A Capita Selecta course provides the opportunity to explore specific topics in depth, which is not available as a regular course in the MSc CEM/CME curriculum. Capita selecta courses are occasional educational elements, often with a research flavor. They may be experimental courses, a lecture series given by a visitor, or a special individual assignment as a preparation on (future) research. The capita selecta can be followed only by permission of the responsible lecturer.
A Capita Selecta has to be concluded by a written report, oral exam and/or presentation. The topic will be selected and tutored by a scientific staff member of the University of Twente.
For approval of a capita selecta, please fill in (together with your supervisor) the Capita Selecta Approval form at the CEM/CME Canvas website.
