The learning goals of this course strongly depend on the topics and/or
aspects conjointly determined by student and teacher.
Supply chain management is the task of integrating organizational units along a supply chain and coordinating material, information and financial flows in order to fulfill (ultimate) customer demand with the aim of improving competitiveness of a supply chain as a whole.
Based on the specific interests of the student, an assignment is formulated that focuses on either a specific part of the supply chain, a specific aspect of supply chains, or the relation between supply chains and product development. In practice, the approach can vary from literature studies, via case studies to design tasks.
