It is foremost a course on the mathematics of control system design, and how to implement these techniques in Matlab. In nine chapters nine topics in advanced control are explored: dynamical systems, norms of signals and systems, stability of closed loops, fundamental limitations of control, a chapter on classic control design and then H2-control, H-infinity control, parametric uncertainty, and uncertainty modelling and robustness. Matlab is integrated in the course.   Desired prior knowledge An introduction course to systems and control.
