  • Understand  and apply the principles of conductive, convective, and radiative heat transfer.
  • Analyse systems in terms of their heat transfer properties, including those with non-stationary behaviour and involving phase changes, both qualitatively and quantitatively.
  • Utilise the analogy between heat and mass transfer to analyse systems featuring mass transfer.
Inhoud
Foundations of heat and mass transfer in stationary and instationary configurations. Radiation. Dimension analysis. Forced and free convection, both in internal and external configurations. Latent heat in phase transitions: boiling, evaporation, condensation, solidification. Modeling in practical situations.
